Expedite Plus and Oshawa Generals Give Away Trip for 2 to Hong Kong

Oshawa, Ontario - The Oshawa Generals final home game on Sunday, March 18th, was an exciting affair, with not one, but two amazing giveaways, courtesy of Expedite Plus. 5 2012-2013 Season Ticket Holders received $5000.00 in cash prizes with Norman Lambersky winning the grand prize of $2000.00. The Generals' yearlong Hong Kong promotion with Expedite Plus was completed as well when 29 people won various prizes and Bryan Norris took home the trip for two to Hong Kong.

President and CEO of Expedite Plus, Victor Deschenes was on hand to see very happy people take home some special gifts. Deschenes has been bringing smiles to the faces of Gens fans all season long. Earlier in the year, a North American trip for 2 and an International trip for 2 were given away at Generals games. These prizes were spontaneously given to season ticket holder when Deschenes was moved by the passion surrounding the Generals team, both on and off the ice.

Toronto native Victor Deschenes founded Expedite Plus over 25 years ago and has developed it into a multi-national organization with offices worldwide. He is as much known for his business success as for his philanthropy, which includes donating 100 tickets for every Generals game to local charities this season.

"It is a wonderful thing to be able to make someone happy and I love doing it. That's why it has been so wonderful working with the Generals, because that is what they do and that is what hockey can do; make people happy," commented Deschenes.

The prize is valid for two first class tickets to Hong Kong and accommodation for 7 days.
