Pensacola Pelicans News Release
It's not every night that you can bring your four-legged best friend to a baseball game!
On Monday, Aug. 14, the Pensacola Pelicans are hosting their third annual "Bark in the Park" at Pelican Park on the University of West Florida campus; game time is 6:35 p.m. when the team takes on the Coastal Bend Aviators.
Dogs receive free admission to the park with the donation of any pet food, clean blanket or toy to benefit the Humane Society of Pensacola; ticket prices for "humans" are $6 for students, seniors and military, $7 for general admission and $8 for grandstand reserved.
Everyone contributing an item that night will be entered for a chance to win gifts from Central Bark Bakery, Petsmart and Cain's Dog House. Other giveaways will be featured throughout the game for people and their pets in the grandstands.
To ensure the safety of all guests, any dog entering the park must be on a leash, have current tags in plain view and adhere to park rules.
