
Everett Hawks Host Wyoming Cavalry

Everett, WA-The Everett Hawks will host the Wyoming Cavalry in the first inaugural season home game. The Hawks will play in the Everett Events Center at 1:05 pm. (2000 Hewitt Avenue, Everett, WA 98201) This will be the Cavs' first divisional opponent, while the Hawks defeated divisional rival Billings Mavericks last week 55-43. The game will also serve as Military Appreciation Day.
The Hawks, Everett Events Center and the Everett Council of the Navy League are encouraging fans attending Military Appreciation Day on Sunday April 3rd, to bring an unwrapped football, basketball or soccer ball to be shipped over to American soldiers in Iraq. All balls that are collected during the game will be sent over to a central location in Iraq and handed over to the soldiers for distribution. Containers will be placed throughout the Events Center so fans can simply drop their donated gift upon entering the arena.
Fans can join the Everett Hawks for a Pep Rally on Friday, April 1st from 5 â 7 pm at Hooters of Lynnwood. (19800 44th Street, Lynnwood, WA 98036) Coaches, players and the Hawkette's will be on hand to sign autographs and talk strategy. Join the team and cheer them on to another win at the restaurant.
