Everblades Acquire Schneider and Clare from Indy Fuel

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush announced Thursday that the team has acquired forward Peter Schneider (pictured above left) and defenseman Kevin Clare (pictured above right) from the Indy Fuel in exchange for forward Kevin Lynch and defenseman Matt Stanisz.

Schneider, 25, finished third in scoring for the Fuel last season recording 37 points (16g, 21a) in 64 games played. The 5-11, 195-pound forward also posted eight points (4g, 4a) in 10 games with Indy in the spring of 2015. The Vienna, Austria native totaled a balanced 46 points (22g, 25a) during his four-year collegiate career at the University of Notre Dame from 2011-2015.

Clare, 24, joins the Everblades after compiling 19 points (4g, 15a) in 67 games played split between the Fuel and the Elmira Jackals last season. The 6-1, 200-pound blueliner registered 18 points (3g, 15a) in 51 appearances with the Toledo Walleye during the 2014-15 season. The New Rochelle, NY native completed his four-year career at the University of Michigan with 24 points (3g, 21a) from 2010-2014.

Lynch will head to Indy after posting 65 points (24g, 41a) in 69 games played with the Everblades during the past two seasons, while Stanisz joins the Fuel logging 18 points (2g, 16a) in 41 contests in his rookie campaign with Florida last season.

This is the second transaction made by the Everblades in as many days. Yesterday, the team announced that center Mike Aviani agreed to terms with the team for a third consecutive season,.
