
Ettinger Dealt to Vancouver Giants

Brandon, MB. - Less than a week after being designated for assignment, defenceman Ty Ettinger has been dealt from the Brandon Wheat Kings to the Vancouver Giants.
In exchange for the 18-year old native of Ardrossan, Alberta, the Wheat Kings will get a seventh round pick in the 2020 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Chosen by the Wheat Kings in the fifth round of the 2015 draft, Ettinger is in his second WHL season, having played 45 games for the Wheat Kings during the 2018-19 campaign.
Ettinger had two goals, 7 points and 47 penalty minutes during his rookie season.
The Wheat Kings, who travel to Saskatchewan for games in Moose Jaw and Regina Thanksgiving weekend, currently have 23 players on their active roster - 2 goalkeepers, eight defencemen and thirteen forwards.
Brandon's next home game is Friday, October 12th vs. Moose Jaw.
