Edmonton Elks News Release

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos today acquired offensive lineman Sandy Annunziata from the Toronto Argonauts for future considerations.

A 9 year CFL veteran, Annunziata has spent the last six seasons with the Argos. In 2002, the former University of Western Ontario standout was named a CFL East Division All-Star and was Toronto's nominee for the CFL's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman. As a rookie in 1995, Annunziata signed as a free agent with Edmonton and appeared in 7 games with the Esks before being released. He spent two seasons (1997 – '98) with Winnipeg.

Eskimo offensive line coach Bill Macdermott says "Sandy is a quality CFL veteran who can play all three inside positions. He's an excellent addition to our O-line".
