
Esks Sign Two D-Linemen

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have signed import defensive lineman Andre Coleman and import defensive end Larry Birdine, the club announced today.
Originally signing with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2007, Coleman spent three seasons with the Chargers, mainly on the practice roster. He was activated for two games in September 2009. He was released at the end of the 2009/2010 season.
Birdine has been on the practice squads of several NFL teams; Green Bay Packers ('07), Tennessee Titans ('07, '09), Denver Broncos ('07) and the San Francisco 49ers ('08). The Oklahoma native originally signed as a free agent with the Green Bay Packers in 2007.
