Edmonton - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the release of import punt returner Phillip Livas.
Livas signed as a free agent on July 2, 2013. Prior to the Eskimos, he spent time with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens and Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League. After four seasons at Louisiana Tech, he finished his collegiate career tied for the NCAA record in touchdown returns with eight.
