(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the following four players have been released from the club:
- import offensive lineman Joel Bell
- non-import fullback Darcy Brown
- non-import centre Kyle Koch
- non-import offensive lineman Dale Stevenson
Bell signed as a free agent on June 3, 2012 and spent the season on the nine-game injured list after suffering an injury in the final pre-season game vs. the BC Lions on June 21.
Brown was traded to Edmonton from Hamilton on Sept. 13, 2012 in exchange for import defensive back Ricardo Colclough and the Eskimos' sixth round pick in the 2015 CFL Canadian Draft. He played four games as an Eskimo, registering three special teams tackles and a blocked punt.
Koch originally signed as a free agent on Feb. 16, 2009. In four seasons with the green and gold, he played 68 games.
Stevenson signed as a free agent on June 27, 2011. He spent the 2011 season on the Eskimo practice roster and the 2012 season on the nine-game injured list.
