
Eskimos trade Cavil to Hamilton

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos today traded import wide receiver Kwame Cavil to Hamilton in exchange for a fourth round selection in the 2006 CFL Canadian Draft.
Cavil, who was traded to Edmonton from Montreal on July 30th 2005 appeared in seven games for the Eskimos, registering 31 receptions for 259 yards and 1 TD (Week #9 vs. Mtl). He did not play in the post season or 2005 Grey Cup.
The 2005 defending Grey Cup champion Edmonton Eskimos open the 2006 CFL season in Montreal on June 18th.
