
Eskimos release annual financial results

Edmonton Elks News Release
(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announced today at their Annual General Meeting an Operating Income from football operations of $344,713 compared to $229,054 in 2007.
Operating Revenues were $14.868 million, an increase of $1.008 million from 2007. Operating expenses were $14.523 million, compared to $13.630 million in 2007.
The Club had a Net Loss of $504,049 for the year ending December 31, 2008. This was due to a loss of $553,000 from investments in the Eskimo Stabilization Fund.

Club shareholders elected Doug Goss, QC, Bryan & Company; Bruce Bentley, President & CEO, Maclab Enterprises; John Moquin, Vice President & General Manager, Inland Concrete and Terry O'Flynn, President, Prism Flow Products to the Board of Directors for three year terms. Jeff Polovick and Brian Butlin retired from the Board of Directors.
The Directors elected Doug Goss, Chairman of the Board, Allan Sawin, Treasurer and Bruce Bentley as Secretary.
