
Eskimos and D Coordinator Stubler Part Ways

( Edmonton ) Edmonton Eskimo Defensive Coordinator Rich Stubler will not return to the club next season.
Eskimo Head Coach Kavis Reed says "Rich chose not to sign a new contract and informed us he's looking to pursue other opportunities. He was instrumental is shaping a group of young players into one of the CFL's best defences and we thank Coach Stubler for his contributions".
A veteran of over 30 years in the coaching ranks, Stubler had three stints with the Eskimos from 1991 - '95, 1998 - '99 and 2011.
