
Eskimos Acquire OL Davis From Hamilton

(Edmonton) - The Eskimos have acquired import offensive lineman Gerald Davis from Hamilton in exchange for a conditional selection in the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft, the club announced today.
Davis started in all six games he appeared in during his rookie season with the Tiger-Cats. He made his CFL debut on September 6th against the BC Lions after spending 12 weeks on the practice roster.
The Georgia native played four years at Valdosta State, playing in 46 games (36 starts). He started in all 14 games in 2007 and helped Valdosta to the NCAA Division II Championship.
