
Eskimo caravan rolls into Lloydminster

Edmonton, AB â Last week Barrhead, this week Lloydminster! This Thursday, April 24, 2003 the Edmonton Eskimo player caravan rolls into Lloydminster, AB with players A.J. Gass, Ed Hervey, Singor Mobley and Rick Walters, along with Eskimo C.O.O. Rick LeLacheur. They will appear at the Wayside Inn, Best Western at a lunch event in conjunction with the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce. Several players and coaches from the Lloydminster Comprehensive and Holy Rosary High School football programs will also be on hand.
Eskimo players have made several off-season visits to outlying communities to meet with fans, season ticket holders and local businesses.
"An increasing number of Eskimo fans and season ticket holders live outside the city and appreciate that Eskimo football is fun and affordable entertainment," Eskimo C.O.O. Rick Lelacheur said. "The Eskimo player caravan gives us the opportunity to interact with the people who support this club."
Lloydminster is located 251 kilometers east of Edmonton and straddles the Alberta/Saskatchewan border. Next stop(s) for the Eskimo player caravan include Edson, Ponoka and Yellowknife, NWT.
