
Errors, walks, 'Sharks sink Surf

Atlantic City, NJ_ The Atlantic City Surf walked eleven batters and committed five errors in their loss to the Camden Riversharks, 10-6, on Friday night at Sandcastle Stadium.
Surf starter Terrell Wade picked up the loss after he walked ten batters and gave up seven runs on two hits in his four innings of work. Shortstop Raul Marval hit two homeruns on the night, driving in three runs. Dario Delgado also went deep for the Surf, his team leading twenty-second.
The Riversharks received seven innings from starter Ben Simon, who earned his fifth win. He allowed three runs on five hits and struck out eight. The Riversharks had homeruns courtesy of Chris Widger and Tony Rodriguez.
The teams meet for the final game of the series tomorrow night at the Sandcastle beginning at 6:35pm. The first 1,000 kids ages 3-12 will receive a back-to-school lunch bag courtesy of Pride in Public Education. The Surf will throw Kyle Goldwater against Bret Laxton.
