
Erik Cole and Chad LaRose to throw ceremonial first pitches for Bulls' playoff games

Durham, NC - Carolina Hurricanes left-winger Erik Cole and center Chad LaRose are scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitches for the Governors' Cup Playoff games at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park (DBAP) on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. The Bulls take on the Louisville Bats at 7:05 PM in Games One and Two.
Cole last appeared at the DBAP with Cam Ward in 2006 after the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup. Both Cole and Ward threw ceremonial first pitches after driving the Stanley Cup around the warning track in front of a sellout crowd. LaRose last appeared in 2008 to throw out a ceremonial first pitch at a regular season game.
