
Mets Promote Bisons RHP Tobi Stoner

The New York Mets today announced that they have selected the contract of Buffalo Bisons RHP Tobi Stoner. This is Stoner's first big league promotion.
Stoner was 7-7 with a 3.96ERA in 16 starts with the Bisons (97.2IP, 92H, 45R, 43ER, 34BB, 64K). His seven wins were tied for 1st on the Bisons with RHP Nelson Figueroa, and he finished T2nd in starts (16), 3rd in innings pitched (97.2IP) and 5th in strikeouts (64). Stoner was a perfect 4-0 with a 1.91ERA in his final five starts of the season with Buffalo.
Stoner was also 2-2 with a 2.68ERA in seven starts with Binghamton (AA) to begin the season. He joined the Bisons on June 15 and remained with the Herd for the rest of the season.
