ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

Tonight, the SeaWolves continue a four-game series with the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) at Jerry Uht Park. After snapping a 12-game losing streak on Sunday at Binghamton, the Baysox took down the 'Wolves in game one of the series last night 8-4. The 'Wolves trailed by a run heading into the ninth inning but were held scoreless over the final three innings. The Baysox have taken four straight over Erie to gain an advantage in the season series 6-5. Erie is 1-3 against the Baysox at home. The 'Wolves are winless in their last eight home games and have not won a game at home since defeating Altoona on April 27 by a score of 5-4. The five home wins for Erie is the fewest in the Eastern League...Leftie Luke French makes his ninth appearance and eighth start of the season tonight for the 'Wolves. French is making his third start against the Baysox. He is 0-1 with a no-decision in his previous two appearances against Bowie. In his most recent start on May 15, French went seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits with three walks and three strikeouts against the Baysox. French has tossed seven or more innings in three straight and four of his last five starts...RHP Chris Tillman takes the mound for the Baysox. Tillman has won four of his last five starts, including his last time out against Erie on May 15. He tossed six shutout innings allowing three hits with a pair of walks and a season-high nine strikeouts in that start. Tillman has not allowed a run in each of his last two starts.
