Published on March 12, 2020 under Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Erie Otters News Release
The Erie Otters are fully supportive of the CHL's decision to pause the 2019-20 season and all hockey activity until further notice, which is focused on controlling the risk of spreading COVID-19. The health and safety of our community, including our fans, guests, players and staff is of the utmost importance to us. We are in touch with our event partners and taking advice from public health authorities in regard to our daily operations with the highest priority on keeping our community safe.
The team will remain in contact with the CHL during this period and pass along pertinent information as it becomes available. We appreciate the understanding of our fans, corporate partners and guests under these extraordinary circumstances and look forward to seeing hockey again when the Otters return to the Erie Insurance Arena.
