Oshawa Generals News Release

Oshawa, ON- The health, safety and well-being of our fans, staff and players remain the most important priority of the Ontario Hockey League and the Oshawa Generals. The Generals are in full support of the Canadian Hockey League's decision to pause the 2019-20 season due to concerns surrounding COVID - 19.

As a result of this decision, the Generals as a member club of the CHL, will not be playing games until the CHL, along with the government and health officials, decide the timing is right to return to the ice. The Generals final three home games will not take place as scheduled. The team will continue to work in consultation with the CHL as well as with city and country representatives, to monitor the situation moving forward.

As with the CHL, we are hopeful to resume the season and playoffs when appropriate and prudent.

We are currently working on answers to frequently asked questions from our various stakeholders and it is our intention to communicate on a regular basis as this situation is fluid.
