Equipment and Game-Worn Jersey Sale this Weekend

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers announced that the team will hold an equipment and game-worn jersey sale, which is open to the public, Saturday, May 5 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday, May 6 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Extreme Ice Center in Indian Trail, N.C.
The sale will be held in the pro shop of Extreme Ice Center and will feature a variety of new and used equipment including stick products, pants, helmets, elbow pads and socks as well as game worn jerseys from this season and previous seasons. The game-worn jersey sale will be in a 'buy it now' format before the jerseys are put up for online auction. The Checkers will accept cash, check or credit card. All sales are final.
Extreme Ice Center is located at 4705 Indian Trail-Fairview Road, Indian Trail, N.C., 28079.
The Checkers enter their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL in October 2007. In the team's 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three-consecutive playoff appearances to date. The Checkers will enter their third season of play at St. Lawrence Homes Home Ice at Charlotte Bobcats Arena this fall.
