ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward David Brine and defenseman Mike Card have been reassigned to the club from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League, and that defenseman Chris Lee has been reassigned to the team from the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the AHL.

Brine returns to the Everblades after a brief call up to Rochester on April 28. The 22-year-old rookie has four points (2g, 2a) in six Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Everblades. During the 2006-07 regular season the Truro, Nova Scotia native registered 30 points (9g ,21a) in 52 games with the Everblades. With Rochester, Brine collected eight points (4g, 4a) in 22 regular season games.

Card also makes his return to the Everblades roster from the Americans where he skated in six Calder Cup Playoff games, but did not register a point. The 21-year-old played in Florida's first two Kelly Cup Playoff games against the Charlotte Checkers and collected a goal and two assists before heading to Rochester. The former 8th round pick by the Buffalo Sabres in 2004 first joined the Everblades on March 30 and played in the final six regular season games picking up four points (1g, 3a). Card spent the majority of the 2006-07 season with the Americans, playing in 50 games this season and notching nine points (1g, 8a) and 38 penalty minutes. The Kitchener, Ontario native has also skated in four games at the NHL level with the Sabres this season, making his NHL debut on November 11 at Philadelphia.

Lee makes his return to the Everblades lineup after seeing his AHL season with Omaha come to an end with a playoff series loss to the Iowa Stars. Lee finished his first Calder Cup Playoff run with three goals in six games. In addition to playing in 37 games with the Everblades this season, scoring 25 points (6g, 19a), the 26-year-old also saw action with three AHL teams. Lee began the season by playing in three games with the Albany River Rats (0g, 1a), then earned a brief call up to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers where he skated in one game before heading to Omaha for the remainder of the season in early February where he collected 17 points (4g, 13a) in 32 games.

The Everblades today also placed forward Reggie Berg on the 3-day injured reserve list. The 30-year-old has played in two Kelly Cup Playoff games scoring one goal. During the regular season the veteran put together a career year scoring 64 points (29g, 35a) in 58 games on his way to becoming the all-time leading scorer in Everblades history.
