
Epiphanny Prince Named to the 2010 WNBA All-Rookie Team

CHICAGO, August 31, 2010 - Chicago Sky guard Epiphanny Prince was named to the 2010 WNBA All-Rookie Team today as announced today by the WNBA.
Prince, selected No. 4 overall in the Draft by the Sky, ranked third among rookies in scoring (9.8 ppg) and led first-year players in steals (1.6 spg) and total steals (55), placing her in the top six in the league in both. Her 55 steals were also a Sky rookie record. She ranked second on the team in assists (2.7 apg) and third in scoring. Prince scored 334 points in 2010 is the second-highest rookie total in franchise history.
Other 2010 WNBA All-Rookie team members include Connecticut Sun center Tina Charles, also the 2010 WNBA Rookie of the Year, Minnesota Lynx guard-forward Monica Wright, New York Liberty guard Kalana Greene and Connecticut Sun forward Kelsey Griffin.
"It is a privilege to be included in this group of talented players," said Prince. "I just wanted to come in as a rookie and play as well as I could to help my team and I am happy that I was able to contribute in my first season and learn from some experienced players such as Dominique Canty and Jia Perkins. I look forward to coming back in 2011 to take everything I have learned as a rookie and produce even better results for my team."
