Columbus, GA - During the Columbus Catfish game on Saturday, July 8 Golden Park will become a tropical paradise as we host a Sluggeritaville Beach Bash with Tidwell Cancer Treatment Center. While the Catfish take on the Rome Braves enjoy beach music and promotions as well as food and drink specials. First pitch is at 7:00pm and gates open at 6:00pm.

Don't let your eyes deceive you; the atmosphere will pour out onto the field as Catfish players don specialty jerseys with orange tropical print and blue letters. After the game the jerseys will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the Tidwell Foundation. Fans can pick up a unique piece of memorabilia and support a great cause at the same time. Silent bids are currently being accepted in the Catfish souvenir store and the live auction will begin after the game Saturday.

Also, every Friday and Saturday home game fans can take advantage of the Fox 54 Family Fun Pack, which gets you four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks and a souvenir program for only $20! Bring out your family and friends this Saturday to cheer on the Catfish and support the Tidwell Foundation, and don't forget your lei!
