
Energy Guard Pat Carroll To Throw Out First Pitch At I-Cubs Game

Des Moines, IA, April 14, 2010 - Iowa Energy players, coaches and staff will be in attendance Wednesday night at the Iowa Cubs game as Energy guard Pat Carroll will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The players will sign autographs for fans before and during the game. The I-Cubs game will begin at 6:35 PM.
The Energy defeated Utah 2-1 in their first round series and now take on the Tulsa 66ers in round two. Tulsa had four players assigned from their parent club, the Oklahoma City Thunder, during their first round series with Sioux Falls. Iowa travels to Tulsa for game one on Friday before returning home to host Tulsa on Sunday at 4pm. If a game three is necessary, it will be played Tuesday at 7pm in Des Moines.
Iowa and Tulsa met four times this season, with all four games being held in Tulsa. The teams split the season series 2-2.
