Austin Toros To Face RGV Vipers In Semi-Finals

Austin, TX April 14- The Austin Toros will face the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the semi-finals of the 2010 NBA Development League Playoffs. The Toros defeated the Dakota Wizards to advance to the semi-finals. The Vipers secured their spot with a win over the Reno Bighorns at RGV Tuesday night. The D-League playoffs are off to a highly competitive start with all four matchups stretched to game three in round one's best-of-three series.
Austin will host game one on Saturday, April 17th at 2:00 P.M. at the Austin Convention Center. The first 400 fans to enter the arena will receive a free Toros playoff t-shirt.
Games two and three will be played at RGV on Monday, April 19th at 7:30 P.M. and Wednesday at 7:30 P.M. (if necessary).
The Toros (32-18) were 2-5 against the Vipers (34-16) during the regular season. For the 2010 NBA D-League Playoffs, the team with the lower seed hosts game one and the team with the higher seed hosts game two and three (if necessary).
Game one in Austin will be aired live on VERSUS, presented by Papa John's. Fans can also tune into ESPN Austin to hear play-by-play action from Marc Hoenig.
VERSUS is located on channel 470 (1646 HD) on Time Warner Cable, channel 640 (1640 HD) on AT&T Uverse, channel 123 (324 HD) on Grande Communications, channel 151 on Dish Network and channel 603 on DIRECTV.
