Energy Defeated By Fort Wayne at the Buzzer

DES MOINES, Iowa, January 19, 2009- A last minute buzzer beater lifted the Fort Wayne Mad Ants past the Iowa Energy 108-106 on Monday afternoon at Wells Fargo Arena.

Player of the Game Cartier Martin led the Energy squad with 32 points. Courtney Sims notched his thirteenth double-double, scoring 15 points and adding 12 rebounds.

Fort Wayne's Ron Howard led the Mad Ants with 25 points. Chris Hunter contributed a double-double with 23 points and 18 rebounds, as well as Walker Russell with 16 points and 17 assists.

The Energy will play again at home on Thursday, January 22nd. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. CST.
