(WINDSOR, ON) A rivalry was born tonight as the Windsor Express stormed past the Brampton A's 103-96 on Thursday night at the WFCU Centre.

A physical game from start to finish escalated to some pushing and shoving in the third quarter and woke up a stagnant Express team, who outscored Brampton 36-18 in the fourth quarter to steal the win.

Three Express players were given technical fouls throughout the course of the second half. Only one Brampton player recieved a tech.

"When you are the defending champion, you'll have teams that go at those guys and do things dirty to them." Head Coach and Director of Basketball Operations, Bill Jones, said after the game, "I'd love to look at the film and see why they didn't call fouls in a few plays, but we've got to fight through it and stop being the victim. We have to be the victor."

Windsor stays perfect at home, with an 8-0 mark and improves their record to a league-best 11-3.

The Express held a 5-4 lead very early in the contest and did not regain an advantage until Kevin Loiselle dropped in a layup with 7:27 left in the fourth for an 89-87 score.

Six Express players finished in double figures; Tony Bennett led the club with 23 points.

Gary Gibson went 11-for-11 from the free throw line and ended with 19 points.
