
Emmett Gets ACHL Accolade

Defenseman Rick Emmett of the Macon Trax is the Atlantic Coast Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday February 9th. Emmett is the first defenseman to win the weekly award.
He helped the Trax to three wins in four games last week, with all four games being decided by one goal. Emmett had a total of three goals and five assists for eight points in the four games. He had points in all four games including a two goal effort on Friday against Knoxville, and three assists Sunday against Orlando.
The Trax are now tied with Winston-Salem in fourth place, and just one point behind third place Cape Fear. The Trax host Cape Fear on Thursday and Winston Salem on Friday with both games starting at 7:30 at the Centreplex.
Every Monday night the Trax hold their hour long Hockey Happy Hour at Locos Deli & Pub at 6 p.m. Season tickets for 2003-04 are now on sale.
