Elmira Reaches Affiliation Agreement with Ottawa

October 6, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL)
Elmira Jackals News Release

The Elmira Jackals will remain affiliated with the NHL's Ottawa Senators and the AHL's Binghamton Senators in the 2010-2011 season, the third-straight year the clubs have worked together. The Jackals now have a dual-NHL affiliation agreement for the first time in their history.

"We are excited to be working with Ottawa and Binghamton once again," Jackals general manager Robbie S. Nichols said. "The Jackals are pleased about the opportunity to be able to help develop young talent from the Senators and the Anaheim Ducks."

Elmira, Ottawa and Binghamton began working together prior to the 2008-2009 season.

The Jackals became affiliated with the NHL's Anaheim Ducks and the AHL's Syracuse Crunch this past summer.
