ELMIRA, N.Y. - December 2, 2012 - This afternoon the Elmira Jackals look to bounce back against the Trenton Titans after taking a 7-6 shootout loss last night. The contest in the last one in the Jackals' first three-in-three of the season.

Tonight is the fourth of 16 scheduled meetings between the Jackals and Titans this season, and the second of eight games between the teams Sun National Bank Center. The Jackals are 1-1-1 against the Titans this season after falling in a shootout last night. Elmira has scored 11 goals in its last two games against the Titans with Andrew Rowe (3G, 2A) and Artem Demkov (1G, 4A) leading the charge. The Jackals are looking to reverse their fortunes on the road after last night's loss extended their road losing streak to six games (0-4-2). They have scored first in each of their last four away games. The Jackals play four of their nine December road games in Trenton.
Elmira's 2012-13 schedule is loaded with games against the Atlantic Division to the tune of 58 percent (42 of 76 games). This week begins a span of five consecutive games against the Atlantic Division that will see the Jackals play Wheeling (1), Reading (2), and Trenton (2) at least once each. In the big picture, 11 of Elmira's next 15 games (through the end of December) are against the Atlantic. For the season Elmira is 4-2-2 against divisional opponents with a 4-2-0 mark at home and an 0-0-2 record on the road. This weekend's games in Trenton will be Elmira's first road games within the division since a trip to Reading on November 14.
