Elk Grove Village-Based Tasty Catering Partners With Red Stars

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. -- The Chicago Red Stars of Women's Professional Soccer are pleased to announce Elk Grove Village-based Tasty Catering as the organization's newest official partner for the 2010 WPS season.

Tasty Catering offers a wide variety of menu selections, from themed buffet, to hor d'oeuvre platters, carving stations, formal presentations for corporate events, boxed lunches and more. Tasty Catering was the presenting partner of the Red Stars' Meet the Team Pre-Season Kickoff event and will have a setup at the Red Stars Fun Zone for several home games this season at Toyota Park.

"We are pleased to be announcing Tasty Catering as our newest partner," Red Stars General Manager Marcia McDermott said. "They have already added so much to our organization and we know our fans will enjoy the experience with the Red Stars even more as a result of this partnership. They are great soccer fans and will be a great addition to our team this year."

The Red Stars organization will utilize Tasty Catering for all event needs during the season within the organization, through fan relations, and through other events such as the Red Stars' full-day summer camps program.

Tasty Catering, the Red Stars Charitable Foundation and the Green Laces Foundation also are teaming up for a program called "That's Caring," where a customized Red Stars gift basket will be available for purchase for all fans.

"We're very excited to have the opportunity to work with the Red Stars, their fans and partners," Tasty Catering Chief Financial Officer Tim Walter said. "We are passionate about getting out into the community and look forward to catering for the team and its supporters this season."

Along with its catering services, Tasty Catering has an online resource center at www.TastyCatering.com that incorporates insightful tips and suggestions, case studies, guides to healthy eating, event themes and ideas, and more.

Tasty Catering will be recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in Illinois awards ceremony on May 19.
