FC Gold Pride To Face Atlanta Beat For First Time

Hayward, CA (April 23, 2010) - For the first time in WPS history, FC Gold Pride (1-1-0) will face off with 2010 expansion team, Atlanta Beat (0-2-0) this Saturday, April 24 at Castro Valley High School Athletic Stadium.
Kick off for this historic match is scheduled for 7 PM.
In a battle of first round draft picks the Pride's top selection (third overall) and 2009 Mac Hermann Trophy winner Kelley O'Hara (Stanford) will defend her Bay Area turf while WPS top 2010 draft pick Tobin Heath (first overall) looks to help the Beat capture their first-ever win.
