In addition to the list above, Ottawa Senators forward Filip Chlapik was assigned to their affiliate, the Belleville Senators on Monday.

The American Hockey League serves as the primary development league for the National Hockey League. 31 teams operate within the league, each serving as a direct affiliate for an NHL team while vying for the Calder Cup. During this pandemic-shortened season 28 of those teams will operate regionally to carry out a safe season.

The Charlottetown Islanders would like to congratulate all the players listed above on their continued professional success and wish them all the best this season!
