Ed Hale to Receive John Steadman Lifetime Achievement Award

Baltimore - The Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame announced today that it will present the prestigious John Steadman Lifetime Achievement Award to Baltimore Blast owner Ed Hale. This award recognizes the contributions of individuals over long careers of supporting and advancing athletics in the state of Maryland. The award will also be presented to long time University of Maryland sports information director Jack Zane.
The Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame will induct Dr. Delverne Dressel, Kevin Glover, John Mackey, Tom McMillen, Jeff Plyer, Brooks Robinson, and Bernard Williams into the Maryland State Hall of Fame for their accomplishments.
The Nov. 12 induction ceremony will be held at Michael's Eight Avenue, 7220 Grayburn Drive, Glen Burnie, MD, 20161. The program is slated to run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
