
ECHL Approves Sale of Mississippi to Local Group, Voluntary Suspension Requests for Lexington, Richm

PRINCETON, N.J. - The East Coast Hockey League announced on Tuesday that the ECHL Board of Governors has unanimously approved a Transfer of Controlling Interest for the Mississippi membership from Mississippi Hockey, LLC to Wolf Pack, LLC, a local ownership group headed by A.J. (Bo) McMurphy, III.
The ECHL also announced that the Board of Governors has approved requests for voluntary suspension from the Lexington membership and the Richmond membership for the 2003-04 season.
Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, all Lexington and Richmond players become free agents, effective immediately.
