ECHL announces league-wide, 2003-04 awards

Princeton, NJ – Tuesday, June 29, 2004: The ECHL has announced its' player and hockey staff awards for the 2003-04 season. ECHL MVP honors will be handed out later this week. And the winners are....

ITECH HOCKEY ECHL "Goaltender of the Year" Award -Scott Stirling – Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies.

ECHL "Coach of the Year" Award - Pat Bingham – Wheeling Nailers.

ECHL "Leading Scorer" Award" - Tim Smith – Columbia Inferno.

ECHL "Defenseman of the Year" Award - Corey Neilson – Pensacola Ice Pilots.

ECHL "Rookie of the Year" Award - Kevin Doell – Gwinnett Gladiators.

ECHL "Sportsmanship" Award - Mark Pederson – San Diego Gulls.

C&T Hockey Products "Plus Performer of the Year" Award - Tim Smith – Columbia Inferno.

ECHL/Southern Sports Supply "Equipment Manager of the Year" Award - John Krouse – Pensacola Ice Pilots.

ECHL First and Second Teams, All – Rookie Team

The ECHL also bestowed honors on the following players with their selection to the First and Second Team All-ECHL and All-Rookie Squads:
