
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Bakersfield's David Suspended
Bakersfield's Jean-Francois David has been suspended one game for his actions in ECHL Game #83, Bakersfield at Stockton, on Nov. 6.
David is suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
David missed Bakersfield's game at Stockton on Nov. 7.
Stockton's Bendfeld Fined, Suspended
Stockton's Jordan Bendfeld has been suspended two games and fined an undisclosed amount for his actions in ECHL Game #89, Bakersfield at Stockton, on Nov. 7.
Bendfeld received a major penalty and game misconduct for an illegal check to the head at 10:44 of the first period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Bendfeld will miss Stockton's games at Idaho on Nov. 10 and Nov. 12.
Victoria's Stefanishion Fined, Suspended
Victoria's Matt Stefanishion has been suspended two games and fined an undisclosed amount for his actions in ECHL Game #85, Idaho at Victoria, on Nov. 6.
Stefanishion received a major penalty and game misconduct for cross-checking and a misconduct for inciting at 8:33 of the third period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Stefanishion will miss Victoria's games at Las Vegas on Nov. 11 and Nov. 12.
Victoria's Morrison Fined
Victoria head coach Mark Morrison has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of published comments made following ECHL Game #85 against Idaho on Nov. 6.
Morrison is fined under Rule 7(a) - Coaches Conduct in the ECHL Playing Rules.
