Ebert Selected 211th Overall

Spitfires defenceman Nick Ebert was chosen by the Los Angeles Kings in the 7th round, 211th overall at the 2012 NHL Draft in Pittsburgh today.

The 6'1, 200-pound native of Livingston, New Jersey played in 66 games last season, scoring six times while adding 33 assists. In 130 career games with the Spitfires, Ebert has amassed 17 goals and 43 assists for 60 points.

Ebert was acquired in a trade with Mississauga St Michael's Majors back in 2010, after they selected him in the first round, 17th overall, in the OHL Priority Selection.
