San Jose Earthquakes News Release
The San Jose Earthquakes fell to LAFC 3-1 on Saturday afternoon at Banc of California Stadium and are now preparing to host a pair of matches at PayPal Park this week. The Quakes will host Austin FC on Wednesday, Oct. 20, before facing Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, Oct. 23.
Wednesday's match, presented by City of San Jose, kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT, while Saturday's game, presented by Intermedia, is slated for 7 p.m. PT. Both matchups will be broadcast on NBC Sports Bay Area, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.
Saturday's match vs. Vancouver will celebrate the 2001 MLS Cup-winning team and the club will distribute 10,000 commemorative replica championship rings to fans before the match. Game tickets can be purchased here.

Facing Austin
The Quakes will conclude their season series against Austin FC on Wednesday. San Jose played to a scoreless draw against Austin on June 19, before earning a 4-3 comeback victory on Sept. 18.
Finding the Net
Chofis, Cristian Espinoza, and Marcos Lopez scored for the Quakes in their 4-3 road win over Austin on Sept. 18. Chofis tallied two goals and one assist to lead San Jose to their first-ever victory over the Texas side, earning him MLS Player of the Week honors.
Inaugural Season
Austin FC carries a 7-18-4 record in its first MLS season, including a 2-10-2 record on the road.
Newcomer
Quakes midfielder Chofis leads all first-year players in MLS with 11 goals. No other first-year player in MLS has more than eight goals.
Player Availability
Eric Remedi will be available for selection on Wednesday after serving a single-match suspension, while Marcos Lopez is back in San Jose after returning from international duty with Peru.
