
Earthquakes to Participate in 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes will make their return to the 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The event will take place from February 4-17 and includes training opportunities and preseason exhibitions. More information about San Jose's specific dates of participation, as well as a full preseason schedule, will be announced later.
The Earthquakes went 2-1-0 in last-year's edition of the tournament, earning victories against D.C. United (W 2-1) and Minnesota United FC (W 4-1) before falling to the New York Red Bulls (L 2-0) in their final match. Cristian Espinoza led the Quakes' attack with four goals, while Niko Tsakiris, Jamiro Monteiro and Daniel Munie also found the back of the net.
The 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational will be open to fans and features the following MLS clubs: Austin FC, Charlotte FC, LA Galaxy, LAFC, Minnesota United FC, New York City FC, New York Red Bulls, Portland Timbers, San Jose Earthquakes, St. Louis CITY SC. Additional teams are still to be announced.
