Earthquakes to Host 2011 Corporate Cup on Saturday at Nutrilite Training Facility

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes 2011 Corporate Cup will kick off on Saturday, July 30 at 8:30 a.m. PT at the Nutrilite Training Facility in San Jose, Calif. Teams from across the Bay Area including Visa, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Zynga, Playdom, Vocera, NetApp and more will compete in three different divisions for bragging rights in the Silicon Valley's premier corporate soccer tournament.

Each team is guaranteed three games in group play before the knockout phase begins. The champion in each division will win a trophy and all participants will receive a commemorative 2011 Corporate Cup T-shirt. Registration fees were accepted as donations to the San Jose Earthquakes' Community Fund. The event will also feature free beer sampling from Gordon Biersch and cuisine courtesy of Cosmo Catering.
