March 18, 2023 - Major League Soccer (MLS) - San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (2-1-0) travel to face St. Louis CITY SC (3-0-0) tonight at CITYPARK in St. Louis, Mo. The match kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT and will be streamed globally on Apple TV's MLS Season Pass, as well as on local radio via 810 AM The Spread (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
The Earthquakes are looking to extend their winning streak to three after earning back-to-back home wins over Vancouver Whitecaps FC (2-1) and the Colorado Rapids (1-0). San Jose are led by forward Cristian Espinoza, who has tallied a goal or an assist in each of the team's first three matches of the season. Defensively, center back Rodrigues ranks second in MLS with 10 interceptions and helped hold Colorado without a single shot on goal last Saturday.
St. Louis CITY SC hope to make history as the first expansion team in MLS to start with four consecutive wins. German midfielder Eduard Löwen currently leads the league with three assists, while Brazilian forward João Klauss has scored two goals.
