
CF Montréal Edges Philadelphia

CHESTER, Pa. - The Philadelphia Union played CF Montréal on Saturday evening at Stade Olympique, falling 3-2. The Union remain tied for fourth in the Eastern Conference with six points. Romell Quioto scored an early penalty-kick goal to put Montreal up 1-0. After being held scoreless in the first half, the Union responded just seconds into the second half when midfielder Daniel Gazdag found forward Mikael Uhre who scored to level the match at 1-1. The duo connected again in the 60th minute when Mikael Uhre scored to give the Union the lead. The Union went down to ten men in the 69th minute when Julian Carranza received his second yellow. Montreal scored two late goals in the 90th minute and in second half stoppage time to claim all three points.
The Union return to Subaru Park on Saturday, March 25, where they will host Orlando City SC (7:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV).
