SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes are facing the Colorado Rapids tonight at Earthquakes Stadium. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on NBC Sports California, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.

Tonight's match is the Quakes' first at Earthquakes Stadium since March 7, nearly six months since their most recent home game. The match is the first live sporting event in Santa Clara County since the onset of COVID-19.

San Jose and Colorado share an identical 2-3-2 regular season record this season. The Quakes have fared well at home against the Rapids in the past, holding an undefeated 4-0-1 record at Earthquakes Stadium while conceding just one total goal.

The Quakes will recognize an honorary captain at each of the team's next two home matches, including tonight. Honorary captains were selected with program partner Austen Everett Foundation. Tonight's honorary captain is 10-year-old Santiago Lopez from San Jose. He was diagnosed on Thanksgiving 2019 with a rare form of brain cancer called DIPG. He will have a custom player card created and shared on Instagram later this afternoon. He has also received a goody bag with a customized Earthquakes jersey, plush toys and soccer balls, with gear given to his sibling as well. The club recently captured and sent Santiago a video message from his favorite Quakes player Andy Rios.
