
Earthquakes Extend Home Unbeaten Streak to Six in 0-0 Tie Against Union

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes extended their home unbeaten streak to six games by holding Eastern Conference power Philadelphia scoreless in a 0-0 draw at Buck Shaw Stadium on Saturday. Earthquakes keeper Jon Busch recorded his fifth shutout of 2011.
The point keeps San Jose in the thick of the playoff race just past the midway point of the MLS regular season. The Quakes have 22 points in 18 games, tied with Chivas USA for No. 6 in the Western Conference.
The Earthquakes return to action on Tuesday in an exhibition against West Bromwich Albion of the English Premier League.
