
Earthquakes Defender Rodrigues Selected to MLS Team of the Matchday

SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose Earthquakes defender Rodrigues has been named to Major League Soccer's Team of the Matchday, formerly known as Team of the Week, for Matchday 7. Rodrigues helped San Jose earn a point on the road in a 1-1 draw with the New York Red Bulls on Saturday night at Red Bull Arena. The Quakes extended their unbeaten streak to three with the result (1-0-2).
The MLS Team of the Matchday selection is Rodrigues' first of the season and second since joining the Earthquakes in August of 2022. He joins Carlos Akapo (Matchday 2), Jeremy Ebobisse (Matchday 2), and Cristian Espinoza (Matchday 3 & 6) as Earthquakes players to be recognized this season.
