Wednesday, February 14 Eagles 3 vs. Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs 4
The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs scored three unanswered third period goals Wednesday night to beat the Colorado Eagles 4-3 at the Budweiser Events Center. It was just the third loss this season the Eagles have suffered at home. Cam Abbott scored two goals and Chris Abbott added a goal and two assists as the Mudbugs evened the season series at one win apiece. The game also marked the first time this season that the Eagles did not win after leading after two periods, their record is now 28-1-0 when leading after two periods. Ed McGrane and Brad Williamson each had a goal and an assist and Aaron Schneekloth tallied two assists.
Friday, February 16 Eagles 8 vs. Oklahoma City Blazers 4
Riley Nelson had two goals and three assists in the Colorado Eagles 8-4 victory over the Oklahoma City Blazers Friday night at the Budweiser Events Center. He became the first player in team history to reach 300 points with the Eagles. Ryan Tobler and Chris Hartsburg also had two goals each and Brad Williamson added three assists in the Eagles league-leading 36th victory of the season. The Eagles played with just 13 skaters on their bench for the eighth straight game and nine of the 13 players had points in their first eight-goal game since last season.
Saturday, February 17 Eagles 5 vs. Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs 9
Cam Abbott had four goals and Chris Brassard added a hat-trick as the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs beat the Colorado Eagles 9-5 Saturday night at the Budweiser Events Center. The game marked the most goals scored against the Eagles at home in team history, no other team had scored more than six before Saturday's game. The Eagles record fell to 36-12-0 although they remain in first place in the Central Hockey League with 72 points. Four different Eagles players scored goals and Brad Williamson had a goal and two assists in just their fourth home loss of the season.

Wednesday, February 21 vs. Tulsa Oilers, 7:05 p.m. MST TV: Altitude Radio: 107.9
Colorado has swept the season series to this point going 3-0 against the Oilers. This is the final game between the two teams this season with the Eagles fighting to stay atop the CHL and the Oilers fighting for the sixth playoff seed in the Northern Conference. The Eagles won both games this season in Tulsa and their only home contest in a 4-1 victory in November. In 22 games all-time, the Eagles are 18-3-1 against the Oilers including 9-2-1 at the Budweiser Events Center.
Friday, February 23 at Arizona Sundogs, 7:05 p.m. MST Radio: 107.9 The Bear
The Eagles travel to Arizona for the second time this season. The teams have played a total five games, but only once in Arizona. The home team has won every game in the series. Colorado has won all four at home by a combined score of 18-10, Arizona won the only meeting at Tim's Toyota Center by a score of 7-2. Colorado has shined in the third period of the series outscoring Arizona 7-3 in the final frame.

SHORTBENCHED- The Eagles have been hit hard by the injury bug as of late. Colorado has skated with a maximum of 13 players for the past nine games, sometimes skating with just 11 players. In those nine games, the Eagles are 5-4 and have averaged 4.22 goals per game.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN- The Eagles have just five more home games remaining in the 2006-07 season. They will play 11 of their final 16 games on the road. Eight of the teams final 10 games are also away from the Budweiser Events Center.
STILL ATOP THE CHL- Colorado is still the top team in the CHL in terms of points. They hold just a one-point lead over the Memphis RiverKings and a four-point lead over the Laredo Bucks and Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. The Eagles have had the best regular-season record in the CHL since joining the league in 2003 at 166-52-18 for a winning percentage of .742.
EAGLES ON ALTITUDE- Wednesday night's game against the Tulsa Oilers will be televised on Altitude Sports & Entertainment. It is the fourth of five broadcasts this season on Altitude. They will also televise the Eagles home game against the Rocky Mountain Rage on March 3.
