Tuesday, January 9 Eagles 4 at Oklahoma City 3
The Eagles continued their Central Hockey League-record winning streak to 15 games Tuesday night with a 4-3 win over the Oklahoma City Blazers at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. Riley Nelson and Seth Leonard each had two points for the Eagles who improve their record to 26-4-0 and remain in first place in the CHL. Marco Emond saved 27 of 30 shots in his 11th straight victory between the pipes for Colorado.
Friday, January 12 Eagles 4 at Memphis 5
The Eagles 15-game winning streak ended Friday night in a 5-4 loss to the Memphis RiverKings at the DeSoto Civic Center. The Central Hockey League record win streak ended in a match-up of the league's top two teams as the Eagles found themselves trailing 5-1 but stormed back in the third period to make it a one-goal game. Special teams were the difference in the contest with the RiverKings converting on three power play goals on 11 chances and the Eagles converted on just one power play on five chances.
Saturday, January 13 Eagles 4 at Bossier-Shreveport 2
Colorado, backed by the goaltending of Tim Boron, beat the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs Saturday night 4-2 at the CenturyTel Center. Boron saved 39 of 41 shots for his fifth straight victory in net, and Riley Nelson scored his 200th professional goal. The Eagles are off to the best start in league history at the halfway point of the season with 54 points in just 32 games.

Wednesday, January 17 Dogde CHL All-Star Game, 6:05 p.m. MST CHLTV.com
The All-Star Game heads to Bossier-Shreveport and the CenturyTel Center. Riley Nelson, Chris Hartsburg and Brad Williamson will represent the Eagles on the ice, while Head Coach Chris Stewart and staff will represent the Eagles for the third consecutive time. Stewart and the Northern Conference have won the last two contests, both in shootouts.
Friday, January 19 vs. Arizona Sundogs, 7:05 p.m. MST Radio: 107.9 The Bear
The Eagles will take on the Sundogs for the fourth and final time at the Budweiser Events Center on Friday night. Colorado has beaten Arizona in the previous three contests at home while losing their only road game. The Eagles will head to Tim's Toyota Center three more times before the end of the season including their final game of the 2006-07 season.
Saturday, January 20 vs. New Mexico Scorpions, 7:05 p.m. MST Radio: 107.9 The Bear
Colorado will host the New Mexico Scorpions for the third time this season at the BEC. Colorado is 4-0 against the Scorpions this season out scoring them 23-12 in the four meetings. The two teams will meet a total of three more times (including Friday night) this season, two at the BEC and once at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Record Breakers- The Eagles Central Hockey League record win streak ended at 15 games with a 5-4 loss to the Memphis RiverKings. During that time, the Eagles doubled their opponents on the score board (62-31) and won five one-goal games including two overtime contests. Colorado had an impressive 25.3% conversion on the power play going 23-91 while their opponents only scored 12 goals on 116 chances. In the fifteen games, 10 different players had the game-winning goal and Marco Emond had 11 of the 15 wins in net with Tim Boron getting the other four victories.
Best Start- the Eagles are off to their best start in team history at the halfway point of the season with a record of 27-5-0 for 54 points in just 32 games. It is the best start in league history for a team at the halfway point since the CHL and WPHL merged in 2001. Prior to this, the Laredo Bucks had the best start at the halfway point when they went 25-5-2 for 52 points in the 2003-04 season.
Team Leaders- As a team, the Eagles lead the Central Hockey League in numerous categories at the halfway point of the season. Colorado leads the league in goals (131), assists (219), points (350), penalty minutes (1,029), majors (47), power play goals (54) and shorthanded goals (23). They are also tied for the league lead in first goals with 20 where they are 18-2-0 if they score first.
Special Teams- The Eagles have been on the penalty kill 51 more times than they have been on the power play this season. They are first in the league on the power play (23.2%) and fifth in the league on the penalty kill (85.7%).
Leading or Tied after 2- The Eagles are 24-0-0 this season when leading or tied after two periods of play.
