
Eagles Sign Two Rookies to Camp Roster

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Governors' Cup champion Colorado Eagles announced today the signing of rookies Shane Foster and Tyler Barr. Both forwards bring size and a reputation as tough, gritty players to camp.
Foster (6-foot-4-inches, 210 pounds) spent the past four years at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he accumulated 16 points (9-7-16) and 109 PIMs in 79 total games. In 92 junior hockey games, the Madison, Wis. native registered 24 points (15-9-24) and 161 penalty minutes.
Barr (6-foot-2-inches, 215 pounds) is coming off two seasons with the Merritt Centennials of the British Columbia Hockey League, where he put up 26 points (8-18-26) and 287 PIMs in 89 games.
The 2009-10 regular season starts with a President's Cup finals rematch against the Texas Brahmas on Friday, October 16.
